Dieskirt Farm is situated in a peaceful, tranquil and rural setting on a 350 acre sheep farm nestled at the foot of Glenariffe Mountain and alongside the Glenariffe River. It has its own private walks with spectacular views of the Antrim coast and Scottish Hills making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. It offers homely accommodation, and an excellent breakfast and of course great hospitality. Recommended in La Guide du Routard, Rough Guides Ireland and Lets Go

A 700 metre walk up the farm lane will take you into the heart of Glenariffe Forest Park with its magnificent waterfalls and many scenic walks and where you will be able to enjoy a meal at Laragh Lodge an awarding winning restaurant beside the waterfalls. Gary the proprietor will be happy to serve you either bar snacks, as well a full a la carte menu or maybe just enjoy a glass of wine or beer after a nice walk. www.laraghlodge.co.uk
At certain times of the year guests may see sheep being sheared or lambs being bottle fed. We now have a pony and four donkeys, Shannon the pony and Nicky, Dolly, Rose and the foal primrose and they all love plenty of attention. Dieskirt Farm would suit those interested in walking, photography, bird watching, wild life or for those looking for a quiet peaceful time.
